Grove Plaid Wrap Kilt 2024

In summer 2024 I worked with Grove to create this wrap kilt from deadstock plaid fabric I was gifted by a friend. I used a body form to help me drape the the side panel around the hip. It also features various pieces from a pair of old grey jeans. I created the waist size that the buttons met at to be slightly bigger than the true waist, allowing Grove to wear the kilt at different points on their waist and use the fabric belt tie to adjust it to the precise size.
