Red Plaid Cropped Jacket, 2026

The shape is inspired by a piece I used recently in a theatre production I did costume for and the fabric choice by an old McQueen collection which used bias cut tartan panels for the back. I wanted to practise pattern matching and variations on the traditional lapel and collar.
